Did I get your attention? You're probably wondering what the heck is wrong with me... "Why would I want to be tired!?" Give me a minute. Let me explain. When I say tired, I don't mean first thing in the morning or falling asleep at your desk at 1:30 in the afternoon. I'm talking about the end of the day when you lay down for bed. My goal for every day is to feel like I accomplished something. To have moved the needle. And one way I gauge that is how I feel at the end of the day. Am I tired? Did I earn my rest? Usually around 8-8:30 pm I'm struggling to keep my eyes open! I've also hit the gym at 5 am. Worked a 9+ hour day. Spent 4-5 hours with my wife and kids playing and enjoying ourselves. I'm ready to recharge and do it all again! This is the type of tired we should strive for. Not the kind most talk about when they say "tired" when you ask them how they're doing. Get out there and earn the tired! Show up and move the needle a little bit every day. Put in a good days work. And rest well knowing that you GET to do it again tomorrow! Thanks for reading and God bless. -Mike P.S. Ty Todt and I are launching our next "Foundations" course which kicks off in 2 weeks! It's an 8 week group coaching program that we've created to help men get off the sidelines and into The Arena of life.
